I am a tea amateur. I use the word ‘amateur‘ in its original sense, which means a person enthusiastic about an interest, rather than someone who is unskilled. Although truth be told, I don’t have any skill related to tea either. It takes years, sometimes a lifetime to become a tea master, and at 33 years old, I’m at a bit of a disadvantage that way. But, I love tea in its many glorious forms, and I want to share my enthusiasm with others. I like to read about tea, of course I love to taste and try new brews, and I want to learn as much about it as I can. I have had many passions in my lifetime, but drinking tea and collecting teapots seems to have stuck.
I’m married and am a mother to a beautiful little girl (nearly 2 and a half years old at this time), and I stay at home with her full time for the moment. I currently live in Dundas, Ontario, Canada.
My favorite tea of the moment: Jasmine Dragon Pearl
